Maryland-Conowingo Dam

Conowingo Dam is a hydroelectric dam on the Susquehanna River in Maryland. During the winter months bald eagles gather here in large numbers, along with thousands of gulls and other birds, to feed on the shad and other fish in the waters near the dam. This is one of the best locations anywhere near where I live to see and get close to lots of eagles.
